My AeroWeek #6
Hello and welcome to my blog about my year in Globalia, explaining in my 6th post my last week.
In this week we worked again with the Electrical Power (ATA 24) and Lights (ATA 33).
First of all, we worked testing the lights of a small plane and its generators. Then we were working with the Turbocommander and its voltage regulators. The voltage regulators are curious because they look like an old car as you can see in the photos. It was difficult to remove it because it was located in a very small place on the Turbocommander.
After that, we removed an electrical battery which supplies 24 V in DC. This battery is a set of cells which contains electrolyte of Nickel-Cadmium. Also, we tested its continuity, isolation and voltage inside the cells.
Finally, we started other practice about the starter generator, which is so important to start the engines. Each engine has one starter generator and we worked on the left starter generator.
This weekend, we won against Sant Marçal 2-4. It was a very good match for us despite starting 1-0 against. However, we went back 1-4 and our shortest player scored 2 goals with the head. In the last minutes we relaxed and Sant Marçal scored another goal.
In addition, the next day we played a friendly against a Dutch team. We won 2-1 although we played very badly because the players were tired the day before. Also, this Wednesday, October 24 was my birthday.
So here comes this post, I hope you liked it and thank you for your attention. See you soon
Another fascinating week. Well done!
