My AeroWeek #8
Good morning and welcome to my 8th post of my blog. Eight weeks already writing my adventures for Globalia, who was going to say it.
We finished the Theory Of Flight lessons and started with the Landing Gear, which is the ATA 32. At the beginning, I thought that this Unit could be very simple, but I failed. It turned out to be more complex and long. Honestly it has been difficult for me to attend class because the book is not clear.
On the other hand, we started with the Air Conditioning practices, ATA 21. I returned to work with the same group that I had before in the Hydraulic practices. We started this ATA removing a Combustion Heater from the Turbocommander. Its function is heat the air directed to the cabin. I had to get inside the Turbocommander to remove it once more, because none of the group was willing to do it.
It was difficult because of the discomfort and the amount of connectors and tubes that I had to disconnect. However, I did my job in the best possible way and I am happy about it. In addition, we disassembled some parts of the combustion heater to better understand its operation and then reinstalled it.
Meanwhile, this weekend we drew 1-1 against Algaida in their field. It was a difficult game against an opponent that was up to the top. They had a very good forward and he generated danger, but our goalkeeper and defense made a very good game. We did not deserve to lose and thanks to a goal in the minute 97 we could add a point. It is worth mentioning that our striker suffered a hard entrance causing a broken clavicle and a lot of pain in the shoulder. Hopefully he recovers as soon as possible and returns stronger than ever.
Thank you very much for your attention, we will continue informing of our adventures.
See you soon!
Another fascinating entry. Thank you.
