My AeroWeek #9
Good morning and welcome to my blog about my year in Globalia. I'm going to tell you my week in my 9th post. This week has been quite light compared to the previous ones, although on Friday we had a rivet test (Module 6). I think it was not very difficult but I made some silly mistake.
In the end, we finish with the theory of ATA 32, Landing Gear, a very difficult and tedious subject. I think that together with ATA 27, Flight Controls, it will cost me a lot to study for the Module 11 exam. On Wednesday, we started with Oxygen System, ATA 35. This topic is much shorter and simpler than the others. It also combines a bit with the ATA 21, Air Conditioning.
In the practices, we finished with the Combustion Heater and started with the disassembly of the Turbocompressor. I do this task together with Dani and we have done it quite well. We disassembled all the turbocompressor and assembled again many parts and components. Next week, we will finish the Turbocompressor practice which was installed in the Convair Coronado 990, an aircraft from the 70s that had the Spanish airline Spantax.
On the other hand, we played against Artà in our home, but we tied 2-2. It was a little unfair because we had many chances but we missed too much. They had chances too, but our defense and our goalkeeper were superb. It's a shame but these things can happen in this sport. Now, it's time to get up and prepare for next week against Petra. This day we did not expect much because they were the 4th in the classification, but we played better than them. Who knows what we will be able to do in the next day.
Finally, I only have one thing left to say. The photos of this post are from the Turbocompressor, Oxygen System cylinders and the last game against Artà.
Thank you very much for your attention and I hope you like this post.
Best regards!
As always, a very entertaining blog entry.
