My AeroWeek #13

Hello and welcome to my blog about my year in Globalia. This is my 13th post and penultimate of 2018. In this week, we had lessons about ATA 46 Information System and ATA 25 Equipment & Accessories. The lessons about ATA 25 were boring, but the practices were so interesting. We continue with Corrosion and how to remove it on the Turbocommander. After that, we could apply Alodyne on the parts without corrosion to protect them. Finally, we did one the best practice, painting all of us the Turbocommander with a paint gun. I painted with Chacho and it was very funny. Meanwhile, this weekend we lost again against Madre Alberta 3-2 in Son Moix. I can not talk much about the game because I was traveling around the United Kingdom. Next week I will tell you more about this fantastic trip. My apologies for if this post is shorter than the others but on the other hand I have been able to take many photos with Dani, Chacho, Francisco and else, and share them. Thank you very much for your at

Good morning and welcome to my blog about my year in Globalia. This week was very short but I think that it has interesting things. This post is the 12th and it's about the first December's week, 3rd to 9th. Fortunately, we had only 3 days of class. These holidays were pretty good for us, we could rest and in my situation, enjoy with my friends. In this weekend, some of my friends went to Mallorca because they are studying in Barcelona or Valencia their college career. In addition, next week I will travel with some friends to Liverpool. I'm very excited for this travel because I really like to travel to England. In this week, we had lessons about 3 ATAs: Integrated Modular Avionics ATA 42, Cabin Systems ATA 44 & On Board Maintenance ATA 45. In the practices, we started with Corrosion and how do the maintenance against this aircraft's enemy. Corrosion is very dangerous and that is why it is necessary to carry out an exhaustive maintenance. Meanwhile with the Son S

Maintenance Company: NovisAir

Good morning and welcome to my blog. This time I will not talk about my week at Globalia, but about a class work we did for November. This work is about creating a maintenance company from the beginning and explain its structure, types of aircraft, location, etc. I leave the link so you can see the presentation. I hope you like it and thank you for your attention. Maintenance Company: https://docs.google.com/presentation/d/1mOcODLcthA-0vHFIA3Lp7cDwDxJCROV3yboiKFJfZSQ/edit?usp=drivesdk

Welcome once again to another post of my year in Globalia. This is the 11th post I do about the Aeromecanic Maintenance course that I am studying. This week has been the continuation of the previous one in the theoretical part. We continue with Instrumentation and Navigation, and then we started ATA 22, Auto Flight, and ATA 23, Communications. Believe it or not, these 4 ATAs have a lot of relationship since they are fundamental to make a safe flight to assist and guide the pilot. As expected, in practice we continue with the same ATAs as the previous week, but introducing the ATA 23. This time, I removed and installed an antenna with Jose, Francisco and Rafa Sunday. This antenna was a VOR, or Very High Frequency Omnidirectional Range, an antenna that serves to locate the plane with reference to ground stations. For example, one of those ground stations is on the way to Cala Pi. On the other hand, this weekend was a new defeat for us. This time, against Espanya of Llucmajor, in our fi

Hello, welcome to my blog in ts 10th post about my year in Globalia. At the beginning, this week was in the same line like the previous one. In the practices, we started the assembly of the Turbocompressor. My group worked very fast to assemble it. After that, we started the practices about ATA 34, Navigation. I worked with Francisco in the inspection and testing of a Pitot Probe of the Turbocommander. What is a Pitot Tube you ask? Basically it is a small metal tube that by means of the pressure and speed of the air that receives can help to calculate the speed that has the airplane. In addition, Static Probes calculates the static pressure in the environment. With these two data we can know the speed of the plane thanks to the Airspeed Indicator of the cockpit. Meanwhile, we had lessons about ATAs 31, Instrumentation Equipment, and ATA 34, like I said before, Navigation. In other hand, this weekend we lost against Petra 4-1. It was a very difficult match and we started losing. Howev
