My AeroWeek #17

Hello and welcome to my 17th post about my year in Globalia. This post is a mix with the 17th & 18th weeks because they were very short. In the first week, we finished with Fire Protection classes, ATA 26, and then we started with Human Factors with our instructor Luís Miguel. In the second week, we continue with the Human Factors classes and they are very entertaining due to the interest that the instructor gives him. In the practices, we tested the shock absorber of the Piper Seneca and the De-ice boots of the Turbocommander. After that, Rafa and I clean a large spot of hydraulics for the jacks that hold the Turbo Commander. We use acetone and gasoline to remove the stain. In these two weeks I studied a lot for the exam on February 4 th. Unfortunately, I failed for two bad questions. It's a shame but at least it does not affect that I can not perform the FCTs. Hi there and welcome to my 16th post, the 2nd in 2019 . This week has been very complete in the theoretical part. We finished ATA 21, Air Conditioning, and our instructor Jaime helped us by reviewing the ATA 32, Landing Gear. Unfortunately, this ATA was very difficult for us since we did not know what they could ask in the exam. Then, we started ATA 38, Water & Waste, which was quite easy and short, although a bit dirty for the "Waste" part. And finally, we started the ATA 26 with Fernando, Fire Protection. Their classes become boring although this ATA does not seem to have much complication. In practice, we could say that it was a very complete week as well. We started by changing a wheel of the Turbocommander, on the left landing gear, and a cleaning/lubrication of the structure and the brake. After that, we tested the windshield and its electrical system. We used an external battery (24 V DC) to power the plane and through the buttons
